Tour |
Tour departs from Bozeman at 7 AM, travels through the north entrance of Yellowstone Park and tours Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Old Faithful Geyser areas. The optional tour includes all-day guide, lunch, afternoon snack and beverage for each participant. We exit the park at the west entrance. Participants will be allowed time for touring, dining and shopping in West Yellowstone prior to departure back to Bozeman with an arrival scheduled at about 9:30 PM. The fee for the tour is $89.00 per person. Guests of Symposium participants may also join the tour upon payment of fee.

Day One:
Bozeman, Deadman's Basin, N-bar ranch, Lewistown. Visit leafy spurge biological control agent release sites, cowboy roping demonstration, country music and barbecue at the N-Bar Ranch. Hotel accommodations at Yogo Inn in Lewistown, Montana.Day Two:
Visit the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Great Falls. Continue to East Glacier via Choteau, with accommodations at Many Glacier Hotel & Rising Sun Motor Inn.Day Three:
Visit Glacier National Park, crossing the continental divide with spectacular views via Going-to-the-Sun Highway on the famous Jammer Buses. Continuing from West Glacier, past Flathead Lake to Polson with accomodations at Best Western Kwatuqnuk and Port Polson Inn.Day Four:
Visit the National Bison Range in Moiese to see bison, elk and other wildlife, Corvallis Research Center and stop in Missoula with accommodations at Holiday Inn Parkside.Day Five:
Visit spotted knapweed sites in Missoula, stop at historic Virginia City to experience the "Wild West", and return to Bozeman.All hotel accommodations (double occupancy), daily breakfast and box lunches, a catered dinner on July 10, all bus and "jammer" bus transportation, and park entry fees are included in the tour fee. You will be free to go to nearby restaurants for supper at your own expense on the remaining 4 evenings.
Cost per person (double occupancy): $435.00
The tour will emphasize beautiful Montana scenery and biological weed control sites. Further details will be available as plans become more fully developed.
