Abstracts Are Now Being Taken

Thank you once again for the tremendous response to the Call for Presentations for the X International Symposium on Biological Control of Weeds. The Program will be finalized next week and notification regarding oral vs. poster presentations will be mailed out as soon as possible. Due to limited time for oral presentations, posters will be the primary vehicle of presenting. In the meantime the Call for Abstracts has been posted to the WEB page at www.symposium.ars.usda.gov. Please submit your abstract immediately. The same standards apply to both oral and poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is April 15, 1999. We are planning to have a CD of the abstracts available for the meeting. All abstracts must be submitted over the WEB page so as to facilitate publishing. We cannot accept abstracts by any other means. If you have previously submitted an abstract via email, please resubmit via the WEB.

We are currently carrying over 450 names and addresses on our Email list. Please request us to remove your name if you no longer wish to receive Symposium correspondence. Thank you for your assistance.
